CCFC Trip to Redding proves Successful

Your Contra Costa FC remains undefeated in the UPSL Wild West Division following their 3-0 win over the Redding Royals, who were currently in second place.
Contra Costa FC started out the first half of play with a strong performance in both possession and shot opportunities. Playing as a unit CCFC used the entirety of the pitch playing balls across, shots from the 18 and 1v1 opportunities. It wasn't until mid-way through the first half that Ben Reiter of Contra Costa put the first goal away. Soon thereafter a rocket of a shot by Alexis Martinez put CCFC up 2-0 heading in to half. Not much changed in the second half as another great goal from Luis "Angel" Navarro put the match out of reach.
Your Contra Costa FC takes on another strong opponent, the Oakland Stompers, this upcoming Saturday May 11th.

Contra Costa FC battles it out with the Hearts

Your Contra Costa FC played against the SF Hearts in a 2-1 battle. CCFC seemed to control the majority of the match through the 75-80th minute of the match until the Hearts got their second wind. Continuous long balls and fast strikers seemed to plague the last 10-15 minutes of the match. The back line was tested over and over again until the Hearts broke through earning a penalty kick. CCFC had numerous missed scoring opportunities but was able to hold off on the late storm.
CCFC hits the road as they travel up to Redding this upcoming weekend on May 4th.

CCFC vs San Leandro FC

This past Saturday night your Contra Costa FC defeated San Leandro FC by a score of 4-1 to improve their league record to a perfect 3-0 in the UPSL. The match was a tail of two-halves. The first half was a slow feel out process as both teams tried to impose their will on one another. It was until the 45' minute of the first half that Steven Henry put in a free kick sending CCFC up at halftime 1-0. Following a spirited halftime speech by Coach Derricke Brown CCFC came out firing on all cylinders. 3 goals were put in within 15 minutes of play. CCFC never looked back as the final scoreline read 4-1 in Contra Costa's favor.
The next match for CCFC is at home on April 6th against Real San Jose.
