Club Day

Contra Costa FC held their first Club Day of 2019 this past Saturday, March 2nd. The UPSL Premier roster was split down the middle as a few top Reserve players were called up to join in. Team Crimson took it to Team Gold by a score of 4-1 winning the Functional Soccer Academy Champions League Shirts presented by FitProUSA.
The scoreline was second to the fun and activities that took place before, during and following the match. Functional Soccer Academy's 4v4 Youth 05/06 Boys Championship Teams battled out in a rematch at halftime. Local youth soccer players walked out with the CCFC players for our introduction. Pancoast Pizza of Walnut Creek served some delicious pie as our official CCFC Fan Gear Store was introduced on behalf of Spoken Cloth, our exclusive screen printer.
Your Contra Costa FC takes on SF Hearts in our UPSL debut next Saturday, March 9th, in San Francisco.

72nd Minute

Another match in the books for your Contra Costa FC as they took a 1-0 victory over Elk Grove Everton FC in Liga NorCal. For the second match in a row rain and wind drastically altered the outcome of the match, as well as dictated the pace of play. CCFC held possession for the majority of the match as opportunity after opportunity seemed to slip by. It wasn't until the 72nd minute that Max Mirner finally found the back of the net as a ball was slotted across the face of the goal. The Elk Grove keeper made a valiant effort but the ball slipped by to put CCFC up 1-0. CCFC never looked back as they maintained possession and continued to earn opportunities on goal.
Up next, your Contra Costa FC takes on Pajaro Valley United at home, February 16th, in a UPSL friendly.

Contra Costa FC holds on playing with 10 men

The weather was a major factor in last weeks match; however, the elements were not the only thing that caused a rift. In the infancy of the match a CCFC player received a “last man” red card, which made Coach Brown adjust his match tactics rather quickly. Playing down CCFC found a way to play together and put 3 goals in the back of the net. Acoreano never stopped playing and put pressure on CCFC while Konstantino stayed strong in goal. CCFC moves on in the league to host Elk Grove Everton FC this upcoming weekend, Saturday February 9th at 6:00pm.

CCFC takes down Elk Grove Everton FC to move on in the Playoffs

A tough hard fought battle on the pitch this past weekend as your Contra Costa FC took on Everton FC from Elk Grove. It was clear from the beginning that this was an elimination match for the Copa Cup. Both teams came out with vigor looking to hit the other.
